Junior Youth Group (JYG)

The Junior Youth Group meets in Friendship Center following the gathering time. They are come into the church just before Communion to join their families.

Grades 4 through 6

The Junior Youth Group was designed with the needs of ‘tweens’ in mind. Capable and inquisitive, young people in this age group are ready for Bible study, outreach and service opportunities, social activities in a Christian context, and leadership roles in the worship service. JYG meets weekly to foster growth in these areas. Students from the JYG serve as readers, ushers, acolytes, & greeters on Youth Service Sundays. They plan a quarterly social or service activity outside of their Sunday morning meetings.
